We still haven’t gotten answer for this.
Somehow the ‘90s would be too physical for 6’3” 190 lb Steph, but it wasn’t too physical for 6’0” 165 lb Mark Price.
1990s had a TON of smallish players
6'0", 165 lbs Mark Price (4x All-NBA including 1st-team All-NBA in '94)
6'1", 170 lbs John Stockton (11x All-NBA including 1st-team All-NBA in '94 and '95)
6'0", 168 lbs Kenny Anderson (All-Star in '94 putting up 19 and 10)
5'10", 162 lbs Michael Adams (26.5ppg in '91 and an all-star in '92)
6'1", 162 lbs Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (19+ppg in '93 and '96)
6'3", 170 lbs Rod Strickland (17-19ppg and 9-10 apg throughout the 1990s, #13 all-time in assists)
6'1", 180 lbs Mark Jackson (all-star in '89, assists leader in '97 and #5 all-time in assists)
5'10", 171 lbs Damon Stoudamire (19 and 9 as a rookie in '97 and 20 and 9 in '98)
5'3", 136 lbs Muggsy Bogues (started 556 games from '88 to '00 and #23 all-time in assists)
6'3", 170 lbs Kenny Smith (starting point guard for title team in '94 and '95)
5'10", 175 lbs Avery Johnson (starting point guard for title team in '99)
6'2", 175 lbs B.J. Armstrong (starting point guard for title team in '93 and All-Star in '94)
6'0", 165 lbs Allen Iverson (24ppg as a rookie in '97, 27ppg in '99 and All-Star/MVP candidate from '00 on)
ALL of those guys were great in the 1990s despite being smaller than Steph, and I've leaving out the role players like 5'7" 140lb midget Greg Grant.
