warriors were 12-0
Wit 4 All-Stars compared to 3, 2 MVPs compared to 2, 2 scoring champs compared to 2 and a wider margin of victory in the "much tougher" conference........

but somehow CLE is the favorite according to deez nikkas

Losing in the first round, with a great player is more likely a team issue from top to bottom.

Losing in the Finals, by virtue of logic, has to be more emphasized (and placed on the head of a team leader), especially if your team was good enough to make it to the finals.

Now, all of a sudden your team isn't good enough? When they lose in the Finals?

LeBron stans can't have it both ways...you give LeBron credit for saying he always makes it to the finals, but then he deserves no blame if he loses cause the Western Conference houses powerhouse teams?

So in other words, if LeBron was in the West he may have had a few 1st round L's?

Which is it?

Once you get to the top you're judged on your ability to stay there. As unfair as it may be in a team sport.
I blame him for 2011

Exactly

There's no excuses for either team just like there wasn't one last year

You have 2 good teams and it shouldn't go less than 7 games :birdman:

the OP just said that the west is superior.

if the warriors were able to have a better record at this point while facing stiffer competition then maybe the warriors have more talent. I don't remember MJ facing a team with 4 guys on the All NBA team

I am not sure if you know this but the Cavs are a pretty big underdog in Vegas. You do realize that one team is much better than the other right?

So then if the East is so much weaker and playing the absolute best the West has to offer then it must be a team issue too?

You can't say "If you're good enough to make the finals, you good enough to win" in one breath and then talk about how the East is a weak cakewalk in the other where props shouldn't be given for 7 finals.

Either the East is much much weaker and they never had a chance to beat the best the West had to offer or they're comparable so it's very impressive to reach 7 straight finals because the best of each conference are pretty evenly matched.

Even LeBron said he'd rather not even make the finals if he don't win it. That's how a winner supposed to feel.

Now, if he beats THIS Golden State team:whew:

I just want a good, competitive series. I was happy he got the title-less drought monkey off Cleveland's back. That was his promise, to get ONE title. Anymore after that would be icing on the cake.

I always say shyt like this is why Lebron will never be seen as the GOAT over Jordan. All these narrative, excuses and mental gymnastics just to knock Jordan down. Man the GOAT whether you thought it was Jordan, Magic Bill, Wilt, Kareem etc didn't need all this to make their case man.

Bron haters are retarded. If you dumb nikkas continuously say the top team in the West is better than the top team in the East how is it a knock when the better team wins?

Only once has Bron lost wit da better team and has won twice wit da lesser team, so how is y'all comin up wit y'all logic?

U make a good point, at the end of the day the better team will win.

LeBron gets a pass for the first finals against spurs and two years ago.

But the thing is, while LeBron shouldn't be faulted when the better team wins, and he's giving us so many :gladbron: moments he's had far too many :patrice: moments at times when he should've won. Which isn't going to take anything away from him being an absolute one of a kind player, legend, the greatest at his position etc but it does become a major problem when cats try to be put him on MJ level.

Wilt only won 2 chanpionships and he appeared in the Finals 7 times. I'm sure people who thought wilt was better than bill Russell would argue about why he better with a fraction of Russell's accomplishments.
