Vick isn't a HOF QB, and I'm a Vick fan.
If Vick can't CLEARLY beat out Nick fukking Foles for the job at THIS point, I question whether he can actually run Chip's system.
Go read the updates that phillycavsfan has been providing on training camp (or, just listen to Sal Pal and Tim McManus every day), and Vick HASN'T won the job outright because he hasn't looked good. First week his VERY first pass was a pick. Plus, he keeps hitting the stupid markers that Chip Kelly's staff put up to represent d-linemen with their hands up, because Vick is ALWAYS near the top of the league in passes batted down, and with the short precision passes needed to make Chip's offense work, he CANNOT be doing that.
So if he doesn't win the job, he shouldn't be the starter.
And I say all that as a fan of the TEAM.....I'm not tryinta have Mike in there fukkin' up when we're trying to win IF he's not adept at running the offense.
Does that mean I'm HAPPY that Foles would be the starter? No, because IMO he's not the answer, either. But that's all we got.

I will say fukk this team too if vick ain't the starter.. Fukk all them bs reports about not winning the job, it's obviously gonna be based on what offense dude is trying to run.. Make the run pass threat one of the components then judge the practices

It be easier for Chip if he named Vick the starter.
If Vick fukks up, the Foles or Barkley can be the starter.
If Foles or Barkey fukk up, than you got all of Philly saying how the fukk can you bench Mike Vick?
He's starting on Friday, but that doesn't mean he'll be starting Week 1.
BTW, the reason why Vick hasn't been named the starter is because he hasn't earned it. All reports indicate the QB race is either neck and neck or Foles has the lead.

It is still Vick's Job to lose,
this will be a fast paced, run heavy offense.
Vick main problem under Reid's system is that it allowed him to hold the ball too long, made him over-think & force passes and take unnecessary hits.
Chip may say that it is an open competition but Vick is the perfect fit for this offense.....
Vick should be working on the qb slide to avoid getting hit unnecessarily. Cuts the injury risk in half and fumbling the football risk in half when he takes off.
He needs to cut that sliding head first shyt out.... because defensive players can still hit him when he slides head first
