Hogan was gonna be the guy no matter what. Everything just clicked exactly like what happened with Austin years later I don't care what anybody says you couldn't put just anybody in those spots, and have it be as huge as it was. Hogan was the right guy at the right time.
Only difference would be that instead of Ric Jobbing to Hogan since 1994 he would have been jobbing to him since 1985
