If we discovered Aliens or if Aliens made contact with us, how would that impact our religions?

I don't think it would be a big deal. Currently we are the only species out of the 9 million on Earth that get to go to heaven so what would one more matter in the grand scheme

That's basically how the vast majority of theists have historically understood the issue since the 18th Century.

Same with evolution in the 19th.

The difference here is that consciousness is an inanimate thing. Thats almost like asking someone to prove love exists.
What we classify as consciousness can be proven; but it being inanimate, its not a physical thing you can prove

I wasn't saying consciousness doesn't exist I said there's no proof the brain created it. I was pointing out the fact there's a good chance you believe things that have no proof.

I have no proof that there is only one reality tbh.

The universe isn't made out of every, matter doesn't break down. It transforms. Energy has its own properties and it's own rules that are different than matter. When I say energy I should probably be specific and say the electromagnetic spectrum.

By break down I mean when humans break down matter you get nothing but energy. That's literally what an atom is made out of. It appears as empty space but there's no real such thing as empty space. An atom is a nucleus surrounded by an energy field.

Has nothing to do with 'religious nuts', but moreso the whole gnostic system in-general.

people trivialize the God concept when
they believe that his creation's zenith is Us and Earth.
Most of the things people turn their noses up at
are in their Bible/Koran etc.
