all this is is some shyt to get Tamara Shealey elected instead of him.

SHE WILL GET SMOKED if this if using reparations as an angle to get elected. And it won't be close. Raph won by the skin of his teeth for fukk's sakes.

So folks want the black man who’s really trying to help the people and just won by the skin of his teeth in racist ass GA to talk about this when it will used as a lighting bolt issue against him
So what if he had said hell yeah I’m for reparations and that’s my main goal. He gets trounced in the election and the main nikkas screaming about it like Tariq drone bees probably wouldn’t even go vote![]()
1. Some of what you are calling reparations isn’t comparable to what you are asking for as it relates to ADOSNative Americans received reparations. Japanese-Americans received reparations. Jews in Germany received reparations. Why is it always a strategic concern when reparations for the descendants of American slaves is under consideration?

The thing is ppl would be fine with him not saying it publicly if the Dems had a recent history of doing actual tangibles for Black people1. Some of what you are calling reparations isn’t comparable to what you are asking for as it relates to ADOS
2. This country has a deep hatred for black people, unlike their mild dislike of it other foreigners
3. Most things that are done for black people someone is actively working to dismantle or discredit it
4. This country is racist
5. If strategy wasn’t necessary, ADOS would have gotten reparations already.
6. This is country is racist. I mean bruh, they don’t even want to allow for Affirmative Action due to its perceived benefit to black people, even though black people (let alone ADOS) benefit the least of all “minorities”. This country (as a whole) doesn’t think black people deserve anything to repay the generations of injustice they’ve endured.
That’s why strategy is needed. And you’re crazy if you don’t think strategy is in play by all of these other groups. But it’s much more difficult when you have a target on your back.
So you discredit an otherwise quality black politician? The thing is ppl would be fine with him not saying it publicly if the Dems had a recent history of doing actual tangibles for Black people
Buy they don't
They barely can/want to help the poor
So when you aint doing shyt, and ain't saying shyt it's fukk it
Benign neglect policy that’s been in place ever since the civil rights movement. They will never directly mention black Americans as a stand-alone group. We will always be included in a larger collective.Damn, these politicians can’t even mention the “R Word” without including “POC”. They can’t even talk about direct cash payments. It’s always some run around.![]()

Here’s the thing, it’s essentially career suicide right now to support reparations as a black candidate, regardless of what reparations means to that individual. But the more black people and progressives you elect, the less taboo this topic will become because you’ll have less sitting politicians with the power to make you a villain. Honestly, they may need to come up with a new word that means the same thing just to remove the stigma. The best solution is to play the long game understanding that YOU may not even get reparations… but maybe your children will. But we’ve lost that sense of providing for our children while sacrificing our present. So there’s that.
So you discredit an otherwise quality black politician?
What’s on you,who I assume is an adult black man in America to understand the truth about this nation and why your statement is sillyThat's on his team to figure out how to address both issues.

People with similar backgrounds and experiences usually have similar views. I also added the word “quality” implying simply being black is not enough. In addition, I mentioned electing more black politicians AND progressives (who may not be black). And not necessarily because you agree with everything progressives believe, but because they are the most likely to be agreeable to reparations since they pretty much accept anything that looks like support for marginalized groups. Progressives are the path of LEAST (not zero) resistance for reparations. Why does him being a Black politician matter?
I don’t know, but this idea that it can be done in a couple of election cycles is delusional. Reparations is MUCH scarier than a black president, and look what happened to this country after he got elected. Anything of that magnitude is going to be even more difficult. And that was a half white half African “black” man born in Hawaii. Imagine if it was a black man from two black American parents born in Mississippi? How many generations will this take though? Keep in mind it took 50 years to flip roe v wade.
