This is true but as a nikka who travels a lot, some of the names we think are ignorant are common as fukk in other countries.

For instance, most names beginning with "De" have French roots.

Tyrone is an Irish name. Etc.

And DAngelo and Idris weren't the first people with those names.

Devante is a Spanish name as is Adrian. Jermaine is French name and Tremaine is a Scottish name. Also, I know a few dudes named Idris born in the early and mids 80s. Black folks been naming their boys Idris.

However, I can't get down with the bold. What French dude have you ever heard of with the first name DeAndre or DeAnthony?

Whoever is naming these kids I'm sure a vast majority don't know the origins of these names.
