Why don't the men who are childless just date women who are childless? There are good men out here who have good jobs, educated and are past the party phase, early 20's, who have a kid (not kidS) and date women with kids.
Why ever seriously consider dating a man who doesn't know how to be a parent...
All of you childless men who are bashing mothers, I just want to say this, I'm not checking for you! You're not on my mental level and I wouldn't subject myself or my child to the instability and indecisiveness that you come with. Don't bash what's not for you, instead focus on what is for you (women without children).
Plus, some of y'all were raised by step fathers or single mothers.
To sum this up, don't bash all single women who are also mothers. There are some of us who are still checking for childless men but please believe that those women aren't with their child's best interest at heart, which indicates a loose screw that you should worry about. Those of us who have our shyt together and are mature will not be checking for you or trying to make you step Dad. We know you're not Step Dad material, you won't be first choice.

It's a western thing. UK has a similar prevalence of single parents.
Asian, African, South American and Latin Europe tend to have stronger Religious/Cultural influence on the family unit.
They also have weaker feminist movements over there, so there's that......
