14th and Kennedy to Macombos
Remind me why a guy would leave Russ to play with wall and for randy witless and for a team run by grunfail. He's been there since 2003 and still not a single 50 win season.

Yeah, I wouldn't see why he would play for the Wizards except in one scenario. His agent gets Leonsis/Monumental to give him a small percentage of the Monumental teams as ownership (they can keep the Mystics out of it though :lolbron: ). Probably 5 percent or less may be an enticement. They need to do something other than signing an aging Michael Jordan again to generate interest and get TV views up.

I dont think he leaves okc or wins a ring. He isnt completely blameless for some of the problems they have. His decision making leaves alot to be desired down the stretch. Its frustrating to see him pull up for a bone headed 3 instead of drive to the hoop.

Two issues here...

The Cavs wouldn't get any worse by Durant coming there. Hell, Durant probably has a better chance of getting past both the Spurs and Warriors than he does getting past a LeBron team. He'd be the new version of the Bulls.

And, if you break up OKC, the West isn't even that formidable/competitive any more. The West isn't this gauntlet a lot of y'all are still trying to claim it to be anymore, it's just top heavy. We all know it's either SA or GS coming out of the West, with the Thunder having a puncher's chance, and the Clippers are still the Clippers. Toronto is as much of a threat as them.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
Listened to the Bill Simmons podcast today for the first time, and he was talking that Durant to Boston sh!t and bringing up all the same point @Malta was, mentioned that Dannis Baratheon been a Durant stan since high school, how he got fined for trying to butter up to KD's mom, and taking about it like a world exclusive. It was fun to listen to the sh!t we were talking about on the podcast, but you always feel like you getting sharked. He did mention that it's WAR with ESPN now, cause they wont let any ESPN folks anywhere near his projects, and he was cool with it, cause he said he has a lot of surprise hirings coming up (like Monday), and he is no longer playing nice. If it's "fukk me" "it's fukk your whole set up". Now that sh!t is fun.

The Celtics would be an excellent fit but even going there wouldn't assure him of getting a ring. Their core is nice but is it really that much better then Russy Serge Kanter Adams etc. It's just him being in the West and having to face a good team every night that hurts him. But Boston has good players but not another great one to pair with him and it's no guarantee that they would get another star this offseason to go along with him. At least in DC he would have Wall and hopefully Beal will be given a stroke of good luck and can manage to stay healthy for an entire season.

You do know the Celtics have a boat load of other teams' first round picks, including the Brooklyn Nets :mjlol: pick in this upcoming draft, right? :usure:

You do know that the Celtics enough salary cap space to sign 2 maximum contracts, right?:usure:

When the competition is fierce in the west your team has to worry about Warriors, Spurs, Clippers, and to a lesser extent the Rockets

Meanwhile the East is at its weakest, when u have teams like Boston coming in 3rd without Superstar talent

The chances to make it to a championship game outweighs the west when ur in the east

Either he joins the Warriors or he finds his system in the East

Oh yea.... Like Melo.... how that turn out?
