If you are Kevin Durant why wouldn't you sign to a East Coast team

Why would he go to the East to lose when he can stay in OKC and lose? :dahell:
What is wrong with you illogical motherfukkers he has a better chance of making the FINALS in the east rather than facing heavy competition in the west, its not rocket science to comprehend

He's had no problem making the finals in the West before already, with the most talented roster he'll ever play on... and was ultimately made into Lebron's bytch.

By moving to the east he would only reinforce that role for himself. Wherever he goes in the East, he's not getting that team past the Cavs. I dont know If youve realized this but no one in the East has gotten past Lebron in 5 years. If KD went to an eastern team, who's he joining forces with? The same reason why you think the east is weak is the same reason why he shouldn't go there. He wouldn't have enough help. If he can't win with Westbrook, Ibaka and them, then what makes you think hes going to win with an inferior East team roster?

He would be a nice fit on Wizards but I think Wizards chasing him so hard publicly made him distant himself from them

Two issues here...

The Cavs wouldn't get any worse by Durant coming there. Hell, Durant probably has a better chance of getting past both the Spurs and Warriors than he does getting past a LeBron team. He'd be the new version of the Bulls.

And, if you break up OKC, the West isn't even that formidable/competitive any more. The West isn't this gauntlet a lot of y'all are still trying to claim it to be anymore, it's just top heavy. We all know it's either SA or GS coming out of the West, with the Thunder having a puncher's chance, and the Clippers are still the Clippers. Toronto is as much of a threat as them.

Nobody has passed Lebron in the east cause the east has been WEAK, with ittle to no Superstar power and he was part of a superteam in Miami, Lebron is deteriorating in FG percentage. The Cavs are not as threatening or intimidating as Miami Heat,

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
You do know the Celtics have a boat load of other teams' first round picks, including the Brooklyn Nets :mjlol: pick in this upcoming draft, right? :usure:

You do know that the Celtics enough salary cap space to sign 2 maximum contracts, right?:usure:

It's really amazing that we could legitimately add Durant, horford and a top 3 pick to the 3rd best team in the east already with a ton of young guys who keep improving. Plus there's still a ton of other picks we have

I'm not getting my hopes up on anything aside from a top 5 pick in the draft tho

Ugh... please stop with this Miami "superteam" narrative. If anything he WAS the "superteam". We all know that the Heat weren't nearly as good as everyone thought they were. Bosh wasnt the player he was with the Raptors. He damn near missed the entire playoffs in 2012. Wade was a shell of his former self. And they still won..thanks to who? If the Cavs were healthy last season they would have wrecked GS... and who got them there his 1st season back? Wether or not they are "intimidating" or not, the Cavs are extremely hard to get past with LBJ in the picture.

The fact of the matter is that any team that Lebron sets foot on wins the East, period. His dipping FG% isnt a factor because he impacts the game in too many different ways. KD can't get past the Cavs by himself. He's going to need a lot of help and he's not going to get that with an Eastern team.

Best situation for durant is right where hes at. Him and westbrook are too good to not win one together. If healthy, i can see them running the west for a couple years. That window hasnt closed.

But they still have to get the 2nd player to sign and hope the lottery pick pans out. A lot of unknown variables there.
