"Tribalism" is nationalism without flags and Parliaments. There's a reason white people only use "tribalism" when talking about Africans, so let's avoid using it.
You’re purposefully not getting it. If John Boyega played Frederick Douglass, Jackie Robinson, or any other African American cultural icon in the Nigerian film scene no one would care.
The issue is when they come to the USA and take up our jobs playing interpretations of us and then sometimes going the extra mile by dissing us.
In basic terms, if there are 10 African-American actors with only 3 roles available and some Nigerians come and take 2 of those roles that’s a problem.
There’s already a scarcity as is but now we have doppelgängers feeling ENTITLED to take 2 of our 3 and saying “we are all Black” when it’s time to take but when it’s time to sacrifice for African Americans all of a sudden we are different.
So wanting Americans to lead american roles is somehow c00ning, but wakandans being completely isolationist at the detriment of it's fellow Continentals isn't?

The issue is that when Samuel L. Jackson said two years ago that Black Americans need to look out for each other in film roles and wondered what a Black American would have brought to Get Out - which Jordan Peele SPECIFICALLY said was about American racism but did not cast an American lead - Boyega came to Daniel Kaluuya’s defense hard as fukk and called Samuel L. Jackson ‘trash.’ Boyega has also called Spike Lee trash for having this convo on ‘She’s Gotta Have It.’

Basically white folks got hip to the game here in the states in the 20th century. They were like fukk all this fighting between irish, jews, germans, polish, anglo saxons and etc. Why fight over shyt when we can work to get a bigger piece of the pie and split it amoungst ourselves while fukking over non whites.
The same happened after WW2. Whites have never had another war on a large scale vs other whites (small conflicts in eastern Europe like Bosnia, Croatia and etc. But never on a large scale again). From the 1950s to now all the major conflicts whites have taken part in have been wars against non whites. From Korea to Vietnam to the Middle East.
They made sure never ever again will they fight one another on a major scale. Their goal is to consolidate power and split it amoungst themselves and to ensure they stay in power with an illusion of the end of colonialism.
You also see this played out in the economy. They will move one job from a group of non white people and move it to another group of non white people. Not because they like this non white group better than the other. Nope its about having access to a cheaper workforce of non whites that they can pimp.
I bet cash money tomorrow if black folks all across america say they would work for a dollar a day. All those manufacturing jobs would return from china, india and mexico and be placed right back in black neighborhoods. If black american baseball players tomorrow agreed to all play for 25k a year. The MLB would stop drafting afro latin players and start drafting black american players in mass.
