Unless you were getting generic-ass shyt in huge plastic bags, then your parents either didn't know how to shop or weren't really struggling like that. :yeshrug:

Always had to pour the right amount of cereal and wolf it down quickly cause I knew eyes were on me and I would have no choice but to force feed myself once those king vitamin cereals got soggy.

One of the few cereals I remember that had the milk tasting nasty.

nikkas bringing back memories. King Vitamin wasn’t that bad. Kix was trash. shyt had a sliver of sugar. Like a dusting. That cheese hit tho. Had a distinct smell to With some fried bologna :wow:

In Detroit, WIC and SNAP covered cereals like Rice Krispies/Corn Flakes (Kelloggs is a Michigan based company) and things like Malt O' Meal were covered as well.
