If you can't drive a stick shift you might as well commit that

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
depends on the car. I like driving SUV's or sedans. Why the fukk would I want to drive a manual shift mid size sedan. You can't ball out like that. Or a stick shift Tundra??

I agree with sports cars somewhat, but to each his own. I taught myself how to drive a stick shift in like 1 hour but who cares really. Its like saying you aint a real man if you use a GPS.

I don't know where you're getting "they don't fukk with automatics abroad". I live in Pakistan and everyone in my family drives an auto. Driving stick in third world stop-n-go traffic is a fukking pain in the ass.

this is not true.
Depends where :yeshrug:

In France, the licence you get is for manual cars because every driving school teach you to drive manually except if you specifically want an automatic licence (which is easier and cheaper to get). If you get that type of licence, you need to pass an extra 8hr (not sure of that figure) formation to be able to drive manual cars though...

I like to drive manually myself because I NEED to shift gears : to me, the pleasure to drive is not full when you just holding the steering wheel like it's a video game :sadcam:
I once drove the Mini of my former boss who was automatic and I reckon it's an easier and less stressing experience.

But you may be right. Seems like automatics are more popular nowadays here... so that manual domination may change in the future decades...

Drove a stick shift Tacoma for 14 years. Finally got rid of it a few months ago for an automatic Sentra.

Automatics are boring to drive, IMO.
