to see this planet eventually destroy it self? hell no

See... I would actually find this pretty fascinating. I would reflect on the petty squabbles over patches of desert, the holiness and value placed upon all the different lands in the world, all of the technology, information, and art developed on the planet, and just see it eventually bombed out of existence or just consumed by the sun when it goes Nova. It'd be really, really fascinating to just look back and see it just completely end and realize that it's what we did there that mattered, not where we decided to act.

:whoa: Assuming that we were able to colonize other parts of space by the time this happened.

This is a real good book on this same subject...

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/The-Postmortal-Novel-Drew-Magary/dp/0143119826]The Postmortal: A Novel: Drew Magary: 9780143119821: Amazon.com: Books[/ame]

I read this shyt last year and it had a lot of :mindblown: moments. It pretty much addresses all this shyt. Not to spoil the book, but considering a lot of the issues that would likely come from this (the biggest being over-population), my answer is no. I'd prob stick around for longer than our current life cycle, but no way I'd make 1,000 years.

No, life would be pointless. We're born to die, if we can't die then life would be meaningless and our experiences wouldn't be as special seeing as how they could occur in another generation.

Am i the only person that is living forever? The answer to that question is huge. If you are the only person not aging then you would have to move every 25 or so years to a different country and restart your life in order to evade suspicion. You wouldnt have any type of legal paperwork to prove you are a citizen of any country so getting work would be hard.

Also can you kill yourself? Wouldnt want to be walking around when the Sun starts to boil the Earth.

Advances in science are making it possible for people to really prolong their lives. Some are saying that the first person to live to be 1,000 years old is alive today. I was talking to some people about this and many said they wouldn't want to live forever, let alone 1,000 years. What would you want, if all these things were possible?
