I’m here now. 5 hours from my parents in MS. 5 hours from the rest of my kinfolk in NC. Cost of living is cheaper, and it’s not as cold. I don’t do cold. I also like a slower pace when it comes to society movement, and being close to outdoor activities

Pre-pandemic? NYC. Lived in Brooklyn for a while and loved it. Public transportation is GOAT.

During a pandemic? Atlanta. I want to drive places. My ex lived there for a while so I was in ATL fairly often.

One of my friends from down here moved up to New York 3-4 years ago and he likes it a lot more than Atlanta. He takes about any chance he can to bring up how something in NY is better than Atlanta now

Me personally I love it in Atlanta and I wouldn’t move anywhere else, and definitely not NYC I could name 3-5 cities I’d move to before there. Everybody has different preferences

Depends on my mood.

In my 20s I would have chose ATL for fun. Now that I take my life seriously I need that motivation so NYC for now.

Brooklyn is better than every part of NYC and ATL combined.


I rather live in Jersey City than live in ATL because Jersey City is close to NYC.


Philly is also closer to NYC so I’m picking Philly over NyC


DC is closer to NYC so I’m picking DC over ATL

Baltimore is closer to NYC than ATL so I’m picking Baltimore over ATL.
