Stop it. Wu are hip hop icons. Easily one of the most important movements since the cultures inception. Respected in the hood, by white people, blacks, west coasters, east coasters, Americans, Europeans, and all over. Kanye, Nicki Minaj, Wayne, Currensy, Rick Ross and a slew of todays most relevant artists name drop them or feature them on tracks because they are hip hop royalty. Lyrical deities and RZA's blueprint is legendary. These nikkas got classics upon classics and 20 years into the game they are still making music that resonates with avid hip hop listeners. For you to even insinuate that they are on the level of a Canibus or ICP exposes you as an unknowledgeable, uninformed idiot.

Nothing you have said has any impact on my musical taste, sorry. I mentioned Nikki, ICP and Canibus only to show the devotion their fans display which is similar to WU fans. Your blind devotion seems to be clouding your reading comprehension. Your name calling further proves my point. Canibus already battled the Wu for the record and held his own and some of the WU members are Canibus fans just for the record. So regardless of how you feel about him as an artist the WU respect his lyrics. But I'm sure he and no one else can compare to them in your eyes. That's your belief which is fine with me. But don't try to proselytism me!

Another thing is I'm not fond of the 5% message either. I guess a case can be made that I must not really like Hip Hop at all.

im sayin....fukkin dummy talkin about wu like they are Tech N9ne or some shyt. :childplease:

You think I'm Joe Buddens, your stupid opinion means NOTHING!:heh:

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
I remember on sohh bout 04 the new breed of younngin bigging up dipset n g unit talkin down on wu as flabby n sick n for white people. Yet almost another 10 years later dudes still gettin release dates n tv spots and all that. Wu is going down as number 1 when its all said and done. No group has the talent, few have the impact. shyttin on wu tang is like admitting this hip hop shyt aint for you. Wu is way deeper than some catchy show tunes

No. I don't have blind devotion to the Wu. It just is what it is. Wu are hip hop icons and you question why their fans have such a strong bond with them? It's silly. It's like questioning why Nas fans are how they are. Jay fans are. And Tupac fans. It's because of the mark they have made on the culture. The classic music they made. You're from the westcoast? Annually, hordes of hip hop fans gather out there to catch a concert headlined by the Wu. Hip Hops biggest annual concert event. Canibus beating them in a battle is neither here nor there, true or not. If you actually sat down and objectively look at their resume you wouldn't even try to post the shyt you posting in this thread. No one's trying to "convert" you. When people state the truth, it just is what it is.

:whoa:I don't question why WU fans are cult like. I just pointed out that they were and cult like behavior usually manifest itself by calling people names who aren't apart of the cult in the same way this thread is designed. Once again your reading comprehension seems to be out of wack. Everything you say about the WU, fans of other artist say about the artist they love. Get it?

No, I'm not from the west coast I'm from the south but the culture was heavily west coast inspired. With that said radio in my area played everything but I gravitated more so to the west and south. The resume talk is what every fanbase says! Anyone can flaunt the accomplishments of the artist they love as proof of their greatness. Don't you understand that what you consider classic I may not because of my musical taste? LOL It's all opinion that they are the greatest, you can't force me to except it because I simply don't agree.

@LilJuicyTaco you're the result of years and years of inbreeding amongst the people of Podunk and your opinion means nothing.

You're an down syndrome victim that belongs in a room with no sharp objects, and calming colors

See, that's the thing...you're wrong state that only their fans are the ones that say what they say about them because that's what fans of every artist say about their favorite artists. Any OBJECTIVE rap fan, whether they are a fan of Wu or not, would not discredit their impact on the game. For example, I'm not the biggest Master P fan but I would never discredit what he did. Everybody can flaunt the accomplishments of their favorite artists but not everyone will base their praise on facts. Wu are what they are. You attempting to diminish their godly status in hip hop culture is what made me initially call you an unknowledgeable, uninformed idiot.

:umad:You're like a Jehovah's Witness who keeps coming back week after week with even more lies. No where have I discredited them. I just said that I'm not a fan and that they have a cult fanbase. Yes, other artist do have accomplishments that fans mention as to why they should be listened to or taken seriously. Popularity, impact, and longevity don't impact what I think is dope or not dummy. Now bow down! :pacspit: I have already owned you starting with my first post. You're no match for me because you have no point, can't understand mine and can't even read evidently. You're dismissed chump and take WackZilla with you. :childplease:
