Yea...I have either made tracks or worked with cats who have worked with everything from 100 dollar samplers and 50 dollar keyboards to every piece of software available...if your sound is good it doesn't matter

While I agree that the old sampler sound...especially the sp-1200 has its on tone, and does sound warmer and fatter, u r definately not a wanna be using digital...

Its not like the computer is making the beat for you, the sounds and samples that you get from a vst/rompler far outweigh the value of the traditional hardware give.

I have had both, and while i do prefer the hardware sound, the workflow and options that digital provide far outweigh what im losing.

Back wen I was in tha loop a couple months back, I was able to view a couple of studio sessions with a few big time producers n engineers in the city dawg.

Almost all of em nikkas use DAWS.

Swizz uses FL
