Like if you play pc counterstrike and are very good and then turn on call of duty for xbox, will you destroy everyone on there with ease?

biggest difference would be going from mouse/kb to a controller. that's gonna effect whatever twitch/aiming skills you've developed

there's definitely basic fps strategies that can carry over though

i've already played console games for years, i heard people say that after being good at counterstrike, they came to xbox and it was child's play bc console is harder to get good at

aiming is the last thing you should worry about when talking about being good at an fps. It will develop over time if you don't have two left hands. The thinking/strategic part is where the difference in players come in. So if you're good at the game on pc, you will be good on console and vice versa.

First off, anyone that plays an FPS game on a console is an idiot. Its just impossible to get the level of control out of a controller that you can out of a kb/mouse. Also, you really need 120hz to be competitive at FPS games and consoles run at 60 so.. Being good at a console fps is kinda like being good at biking on a skateboard.

Do you really think you can get this level of control on a controller?

Yeah, i dont think so either.

You'll be better because pc players just have different strategies and thinking for some reason that just shyts on console, your hardest part would be getting used to controller (idk why would you go back if you can play mouse/keyboard) but once that's done you good

My man said any one who plays FPS On a console is an idiot.

These dudes are some fukking goofies, brehs. :mjlol:

An idiot, my nikka? People want to feel immersion(props for the spell check) and for many... Using a KB/m feels like you're using an AK-47... to work on an Excel spreadsheet.

I think you mean immersion heh. And yes, an idiot.. too dumb to use more than their opposable thumbs at once. The level of control you have is severely limited on your controller, regardless of what it feels like. Simply put, the absolute best player on a controller would get wrecked by even a mediocre kb/m player.

Here is another video to show you just how limited your control is on a controller.

Do you see what im saying? there's a level of gameplay that's impossible to reach on an controller, and anyone that doesn't realize that is either a idiot, has never played with a kb/m so they dont know how much better it is, or simply concedes that they don't want to play against people that are actually good at fps games and would rather play other idiots. Take your pick.

You mean, if a person wants easier target acquisition?:gucci:

That's a preference.

What if the closest device that gives me the feel of a trigger pull is what I strive for?

You're arguing that your love of how much easier KB/m is to put cross hairs on your target makes me an idiot for loving the simulated feel of a trigger pull in a shooting game.:dwillhuh:

Hypothetically, I imagine anyone who could have the option of using a KB/m to play old school time crisis but would choose the zapper gun is an idiot, too, huh?:jbhmm:

By the way, I've yet to meet a controller user who loves competitive FPS to be scared to play KB/m users.

I look forward to cross-platform comp in the future.

it'll help you in terms of knowing how to play smart but using a controller is an entire different beast imo. I get so fukking frustrated using a controller for FPS's on consoles that I give up and just go back to playing PC. I don't really buy FPS's on consoles anymore for that reason. Also the playstation controller is terrible for shooters (I have a PS4--didn't buy it to play shooters on) the xbox controller is far superior. But I think you can somehow get an xbox controller to work on playstation as well.

I play shooters on consoles all the time but he's right. Console players have no chance against KB+M in FPS
