I play shooters on consoles all the time but he's right. Console players have no chance against KB+M in FPS
how is that relevant when it rarely happens? for the most part people on console are playing against other players with controllers

it's definitely not an answer to the OP's question

Okay.

Where are these receipts showing how console controller users walk around with their tail between their legs in fear of KB/m users.

Your argument and his, actually, low key dispel his entire premise.

Y'all points are:
  1. KB/M makes it MUCH MUCH easier to play an FPS shooter.
  2. KB/M users are at an advantage against a controller user.
  3. So to use a controller in a competitive setting is idiotic.
  4. Controller users are afraid of KB/m users.
If 1 and 2 are true, than the truely skilled players are those controller users who can put up modest numbers against KB/m users. Therefore, if a person is truely competitive, they tend to NOT want the handicap and actually enjoy the challenge, and that eliminates the idiotic statement. And none of you have a mass collection of receipts that show controller users being scared to play against KB/m.

Dude is talking from a pedestal with nothing but carpal tunnel backing him up. FOH.

people don't play with a controller to purposely handicap themselves :comeon:

might as well say, "you should play with a broken controller, or hold the controller upside-down, for more of a challenge"

people play with a controller on consoles because that's the standard, and the people you're playing against are also using a controller. a "truely competitive" person would want all things equal, so the competition comes down to the skill of the player

now people do make a choice to use controllers in fps games on PC. but that's because that's what they're comfortable playing with. they basically feel the learning curve for mouse/kb is greater than whatever disadvantage the controller has

Hell NO.

It's a much easier transition, going from controller to kb/M. If you are good on a controller, your aiming will be even better with a keyboard and mouse... the hardest adjustment is learning your movement and buttons on the keyboard more than anything else.

You put a controller in a PC players hand and he's going to act like playing a shooter is impossible.

Depends on the game. If you play CoD on PC and then switch to CoD on PS4, yeah it'll be easy. but it's more cus theres a lot more casuals.

If you try playing Halo 5, you're gonna get bodied at higher level regardless of how much PC FPS you played.

lets be real though. regardless of what platform people choose now, they've probably used a controller at some point

and didn't you choose to use a controller on PC?

but thats only because they aren't used to using a KB+M. CoD pros have easily crossed over and become CS:GO pros etc and vice versa. Some CS pros went to CoD for a while because it was more financially lucrative. Playing in an intelligent manner translates, but the instrument is different and takes getting used to.

What? It's easier and allows for having a much bigger focus on movement, positioning, and tactics. Hell, it's the reason aim assist even fukking exists.

Competitive people destroy those with handicaps all the time. You think MJ or Kobe would give a fukk if the person guarding them had a weakness or deficiency in their game that made them unable to deal with them?

:soulja234: Bro did you watch any of the videos i posted? fukk aiming, even moving with a controller is impossible. But obviously logic isn't working, so lets create a receipt right now. Install ANY 1v1 fps game (q1/2/3/4 doom heretic hexen reflex any of ut's half life, anything you can think of) and let's have a 1v1 tonight, you with your controller and me with my kb/m and post the results here. If you can get one kill against me, ill concede that i'm wrong, delete my account, and live out the rest of my days in shame that i let some noober get a frag on the great one.
