Ten years ago I had a TON of shows that I just had to watch without missing an episode....now I check pretty much everything online

i got dish, and im dissapointed with these cheap ass signals..

Always had a HDTV and this was my secondary one. Kept it around this long because it felt unique in a world of digital products.
Just got rid of one. Gonna miss it though because I know I'll never experience playing/watching from a round, square, blurry screen that gives yours hand a tingly static feeling when you touch it again.
the static tingle from touching the screen...i forgot about that.
Chromecast just allows you to show things that are in your google web browser...on to your tv.
But there's also an app called Videostream, which allows you to play videos that you have downloaded on your desktop, into Google Chrome...and thereby casting it to your tv.
I do miss live tv...but for the most part, I'll watch whatever sports are online...and watch whatever tv shows I can download via torrents.
Plus I have Netflix and HBO Go/Showtime Anytime...which helps.
