Any company with a solid hr department frowns upon and warns against it, but yes, they can't forbid it. A lot of them say the relationship has to be declared. My mom is in hr for a large corporation, and if someone reports a higher-up dating a subordinate, they're in deep shyt, even if the subordinate is a willing participant and doesn't want to pursue an hr claim. I thought it was bullshyt too, until she showed me the policy. shyt is crazy out there
