Give me mental fatigue over physical fatigue any day of the week. And certs are damn near degrees. I'm really talking bout folk who have didn't pursue school after leaving high school.
All you need for these certs is a book and free time. Degree level pay in exchange for some discipline
My sister is doing this . Already have the degree but her salary would go up easily getting them certs up

It can be really hard for people to go back to school because of the time it takes to complete the degree and the personal scarifies you have to make. Most 2 year degrees don't do much anymore and 4 years sounds like long time even with online program availability.
I think the US should be making speeches, marketing and focusing more on people getting trades. It's a shorter time frame, and it can lead to entrepreneur opportunities making good money.

As someone WITH a degree I would easily tell someone to get a good TRADE instead.
Have a job field with a higher demand, make more money, and have less debt!

There are roughly 1800 CEOS in america so again, certs, unless you plan on rolling the dice at a company for 10 plus years and hope a board of cacs likes you. Out of the biggest 500 companies 5 CEO's are black........ so ummm, yea. Good luck getting in those cacs good graces.
