Social Media Community Manager
San Mateo, CA
Compensation: $20 per hour - $25 per hour
Social Media Community Manager Responsibilities:
• Utilize social media management software to engage with certain followers on various social media platforms
• Continue social engagement of followers, athletes, and brand partners posting content from/at company events, tradeshows, and marketing campaigns
• Incorporate company social tone of voice and understanding of company copy to respond to followers
• Curate company content being displayed remotely at events, tradeshows, and marketing campaigns
• Monitor comments on outbound company posts in accordance with company Social Community Guidelines and take action against offenders
• Identify potential influencers and/or great content to be shared on our platforms
• Announce winners of contests or giveaways, follow-up, and prepare prize fulfillment
• Flag outside social media accounts infringing on intellectual property and report them to company Brand Protection
• Direct company followers to various portals and help triage consumers to our Customer Support team
Social Media Community Manager
Requirements:
• Must be creative and organized, and be able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on overall marketing goals
• Some knowledge of company core verticals in action sports and motorsports
• Experience with strong knowledge of 3 social media platforms- Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
• Self-motivated, creative, collaborative and interested in emerging trends
• Highly motivated individual who is capable of working in the details while ensuring the overall program is on strategy
• Capable of managing and completing multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment
• Sports enthusiast and interested in technology
• Excellent communication skills: written, spoken, & listening in multiple languages
Hours for the position
Monday - Friday 4- 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 2-8 pm
