Verizon just took a massive L. In 2010 there were net neutrality rules in place but were very weak and helped crafted by ISP's. Verizon sued to have them overturned and won. The court agreed you couldn't have those rules without reclassifying the internet as Title II. Not only did wireline service get reclassified but mobile broadband did too. That's Verizon's and AT&T bread and butter.

So we didn't have net neutrality before this since comcast was publicly throttling internet speeds?
