I'm not, I'm just trying to point out that it's just 'English'. It doesn't differentiate itself enough from the core to be considered another language or dialect.

I just said the more common word now is slang, instead of Ebonics. Calm yourself, it wasn't that serious. Secondly your hip-hop reference doesn't apply here. CACS didn't switch it up and make it their own. And if they did I don't listen to it. Shrugs. A better analogy would've been the transition of the word "thug". That would've been a better argument. Thats a good point, but how the OP was trying to bring patois into the argument - the thing is if you drop of an Englishman in the middle of Jamaica and they are all spittin that patois shyt, the Englishman isnt going to understand. Now, take the same man and drop him in the American ghetto, he will understand everything they are talking he will just have to learn a couple of slangs.
And why is everything Blacks do singled out? What about the way new york jews talk, the way Italian guidos talk, the way new england irish talk, so on and so forth? Idk, I just think the whole 'Ebonics' thing is rather silly.

i live with all cacs, when i watch youtube on tv sometimes and someone is speaking ebonics, they literally dont understand a thing that person said. Brehs tried to blame it on the video quality
