You wont find many people that are more anti-military than me. I hate talking to former GIs because it seems like thats all they know. From the way i talk about things most people find it hard to believe i was in the military.

But yeah i only keep in touch with my ex who is still in (shes damn enar a colonel now). Otherwise people i knew in there i dont keep in touch with.

Now to address the topic: I dont sleep much. Never did. You'll find many places on this forum where i mention that growing up in my father's house you are NOT permitted to sleep past 7AM, period. Even on saturday or sunday. On weekdays we were all up by 5AM anyway because school in Haiti started at 720AM. He doesnt care what you do or dont do but once you are over the age of 4 you will not be in a damn bed past 7AM no matter what day it is or how sick you are. That was his motto.

With that ive spent my life basically sleeping in spurts. I normally go to bed ad 11 or midnight and then am up by 5AM. I'll do work or watch TV and then go back to sleep sometimes but I CANNOT physically sleep 8 straight hours.

Everyone needs a different amount of sleep. I can make it through the day on no sleep but I'm not functioning to the best of my abilities. I've always had insomnia though. My coworker goes to sleep at like 8pm which is utterly ridiculous to me.

Anyone can find a small number of people to try and "prove" their viewpoint (you didn't prove anything by the way). But the many scientific studies have proven that 7-8 hours is optimal for sleep. And in reference to the study you linked, that gene is rare among the human population, i.e. not every person has it. So applying a genetic mutation to the population as a whole is nonsense.

I think u should move 2 of your training days to week ends.. But go super early..

And 8:30 to 12:30 one of those days should be for work related trainings

Also..why do u work 10 hours a day?

I kinda agree but I would have to up it to like 5 1/2-6 hours....that half hour makes a difference :ufdup:. I use to be able to go off of 3-4 hours back in the day like it wasn't nothin but now if I get 4 hours one night I'm evil the next day and if I do it back to back I could barely concentrate on anything. I average about 5 1/2-6 hours a night and I function just fine
