You can't have a workaholic culture and still be fit.
Iyou think America America a workaholic culture?

I know some states can be.

Just about everyone in New Jersey when I lived there was working 2 jobs..and proud of it to live comfortably.

Yeah, like those finance jobs that work 12 hours a day. Some states just don't think about the working class at all.

Don't forget to take care of your teeth either.

The original post is absolutely right though. Taking care of yourself is cheaper in the long run.

That said, those healthcare bills coming one way or another so you either:
  1. Turn treatment down
  2. Make sure you can afford it.
  3. Have kids who can start taking care of you when you get older.
That's the sad truth. Life goes on without you.

They don't work like we work. They be at the office more hours, but they spend more of it bullshytting. Taking naps, and going out for drinks.
Yeah their work culture is completely different. If anything, big tech is the closest to having a similar work culture.

shyt, just normalize wfh at worst make it so wfh or office is something somebody chooses to do when they want:

Breh I swear when I was working off GP, I gain a shyt load of weight. I was suprise because I used to do the most on the retail floor. Once I just stay away from that and focus on writing and business, I lost a lot of weight and focusing on eating better and staying active. It sucks that there's not enough emphasis to fix the alarming issue of over critical work hours because of this stubborn thing called capitalism.

A lot of people are lazy but work culture plays a lot into it. Cats will talk about traveling to Europe and seeing more fit people, they have different work weeks and have like 30 federal/bank holidays. And of course healthcare.

You're not wrong but what breh said is the larger reason.
All of that is fine and dandy. What I'm saying is that irregardless of whatever a person's schedule is in a given moment, if they have a talk with their doctor and they say: ' you need to do this this and this. Start eating more of this this and this. Not eat this this and this. Etc etc. Or you'll die'

You don't think most people tighten up?

And look bro, I'm not saying making an attempt to take care of your health guarantees anything, I'm just not willing to concede making the excuses y'all are to get off a political point. I'm just not buying all of these Americans being so overworked and wateva else y'all are saying to get in a lil daily 45 minute session and to cut out the pork. Nope

:deadrose:Breh, I lost more weight getting groceries and running errands than trying to demonstrate how a cheap-ass computer worked. Hell, I have seen one of my co-workers blew up like a blimp before my eyes during the time. Jawn used to be somewhat fit and ended up losing herself because all she would do is eat out during lunch breaks. It is crazy how hours in the work week can change the physical and mental capacity of a human being.

No, I know some people who probably take less than 1000 steps a day because they sit at a desk all day and then they sit on the couch until bedtime so steps is like a simple way of telling people to get off their ass.
How hey get from the couch to the desk bruh?

Even a 9-5 lazy worker is getting ‘steps’.

Dude above hit the nail on the head, ‘steps’ are for housewives, people already obese, people over 50. Anyone else needs to get some real cardio in

Oh and very important: that goes for gym bros too :ufdup:I been there you think any cardio you lose gains but the older you get f that you need to consider heart health.
