very cheap, or very expensive..... If you live in the hood its dirt cheap....

If you are middle class or above its expensive..... maids, drivers, security men... running about 3 or 4 cars .... Owambe parties every other week......

If you lived a so-called middle class existence you would probably have a maid.... the houses are big, you gonna do all that cleaning? cooking?

its a different lifestyle, you would have to be there to understand ....although I dont use a driver but every now and then If I dont know where Im going Ill borrow my mothers

I live in a place called Chevron.... but the average middle class person has 3 to 4 cars maids, drivers etc..... the cost of living is cheaper but when you get immersed in the lifestyle it becomes expensive ......

i know quite a few broke "rich guys".... big house , G wagon , Range rover , rolex, Audemars, but no money to put gas in the tank or to buy a round of drinks...

looooong story, but to shorten it I moved back to to the UK from the states about 6 years ago and because my folks live in Lagos I was going back and forth about four times a year to see them, I started entertaining getting a place there but I didnt have a plan, I was doing some moves but nothing permanent, a South African friend ran into some problems in Lagos with his company, he gave me a call to help out and I got my Dad to pull a few strings ......fast forward a while and that same friend gave me and my brother a call and said that a South African bank was looking for a local partner for PPI with some state governments and our names came up.... we partnered up and the rest is history

there is a lot lot more to the story but it would just take to long...

me and my brother take turns, he stays a month out there then I do.... although from next year hes going to be based in Houston and not the Uk ,

There are a lot of negatives though, not going to front, everything isnt all rosy but the opportunities I get there I would never ever have in the States or the UK
