The question is... why wouldn't you?
.
because at the prices they charging, if you arent the one making money off the bar (which most times is the case) you will be hard pressed to make a profit

depends .. what hip hop djs u think can fill a hip hop venue that wants to charge a high end admission price??
hip hop isn't designed like that. booking a high profile dj actually helps but doesn't do the job.
say edm where the DJ is the main attraction .. they get 60 -100 K a show.
Dj whoo kid is one of the highest paid HIP HOP DJs .. PERIOD and he gets 20-25 K. He's an international TOURING Dj as well. at a vegas event he'll probably pull 15 K.
not to put ppl out there ... but Flex charges $8 K, Envy Charges 5 K
but still putting them on a bill doesn't guarantee your event will be popping . Instead of paying Flex 8 K or Whoo Kid for 15 K.. If you get "Chief keef" who wants 12 K for a "walk through" .... Just his name on a flyer will have your club sold out ... hoes love sosa ...

College towns... that are small/mid-sized can get dudes like Tyga and Ace Hood.
All the rappers with the crazy ass riders, and insane booking fee's aren't performing at clubs anymore...they're going to be only at mid to high level venues.
Wiz charging 100k + for shows, but Young Scooter only getting 16k a show.
a lot of these rappers aint getting crazy money for shows unless they're in the top tier as far as popularity goes.
Hip-Hop makes some of these clubs POP... How are we at a point where nikkas don't wanna book 'em?? Lol... I'm confused now...
ur talking out ur ass. These nikkas will perform at your house as long as the money right.
"Insane booking fee;s arent performing at clubs anymore"....what does that even mean?
define crazy money. Cause as far im concerned 10-15k is crazy money for the artists thats charging that.
I cant think of any person worth booking, from a financial perspective, thats charging less then 15.
No i'm not breh.
You do know these rappers aren't really making THAT much money from shows right?
actually i do know they are charging this much.
Dude... I know how a club works. I know the club owner is NOT the promoter. I know the club wants to generate bar sales in order to make their profit and let the door take care of the overhead.
What you on here fail to realize is that every club ain't some NY/LA/Miami shyt. In some states, clubs can't sell alcohol after midnight or 1am. In other places, there is NO CLUB that can afford $20k upfront. You think every local spot in say a... Jackson, MS... Baton Rouge, LA... Macon, GA... etc, can just afford Future or 2 Chainz regularly? No. So we're not talking about every big club that you can think of...
No way in hell a bar in a 50-100k populated town is clearing no damn 60k a night. Y'all try to make things way too simple.
And most clubs would be dumb as hell to book an artist like Chief Keef unless they got the money for extra security and insurance. Guaranteed that fights and violence breaks out.
You do realize Future's $ Fee is based on the city, date, etc.. he's not gonna charge $50,000 in KillBlacks Mississippi like he would in Miami![]()
So how much is going to go to KillBlacks Mississippi for then?
Just throw a number out there that him and his label are going to accept.![]()
