Yea man I'm a righty. My right hooks from SP stance look like randall bailey left hooks. My left hooks from orthodox look like BATB hookswell you're a righty? i think its mostly because your dominant hand is still strong no matter the stance

That's a bit tough of a punch to rely on unless you have perfect balance and excellent center of gravity. Unless you Dre or Floyd you gonna get countered throwing a long shot to the body. Just my opinion though. I really learned how to throw the overhand right correctly, and man what a punch.Jabs to the body

Yup exactly. It's a hard punch to throw without overextending your body. The reason why Guys get countered throwing the body jab mainly because of lunging in with it
I was taught the correct way to do it was to completely bend your waist sideways to avoid getting hit with counter hooks and put my guard up to avoid a counter right hand
Wlad is a master of the 1-2 he throws them things as straight as possible. I have a hard time getting the same results from the overhand right from distance. It's hard to clear your shoulder out and maintain velocity.Been watching a lot of wlads fights and i want to say a great stiff jab that shoots from the shoulder

How did you fix it I have that same problemunfortunately the pinched nerve i got from a gym injury to my neck took some zip out of my right hand...i got it fixed but it left me some issues on regarding how i threw a punch...as long as im cognizant of keeping my right hand short and compact i dont have any issues with power..if i start throwing it hard and/or wide too much i get that dead arm feeling which sucks
