If you were to put Steph Curry on the 2001 Sixers would they still make the finals?

Would Steph be able to take that bum ass Sixers team to the finals?

That would be grueling for Steph.I just don't know if he has the insane hard hat, John Henry The Rail Road Man type endurance/daredevil'ish nature AI had.AI would crash into a wall until his whole body's callous.Steph would have to do it all with those Sixer teammates.A lot of it would involve off the dribble slashing & taking it to the hole.Encountering more physicality. The game was ugly & rugged back then.Sometimes you can be phenomenal at what you do, but still not be the right guy for a particular type of job.

Absolutely. As long as Larry brown keeps his ego in check. That team was based on defense. As long as steph gives you can effecient 28 to 30 ppg. They would win.
The spacing on that sixers team would make things difficult for steph, no players that can space the floor consistently with shootin and no floor general like draymond.

You're right about the spacing but Iverson led them to the finals shooting 42% fg. Plus imagine Curry coming off those Mutombo and Tyrone Hill screens. Also if Steph gets double or triple teamed he just needs guys to knock down timely shots. I think Aaron Mckie and Jumaine Jones could do that. Eric snow would have to be benched.

steph just beat a top defense by running almsot exclusively high pick and roll basketball with him as the initiator cause they basically made draymond a non threat. they actually deviated from the basketball the warriors are known for. this is dismissive of stephs talent
