The only thing Iverson does better offensively than Steph is dribble. That’s it. Everything else Steph is either equal or vastly superior at.
shyt, Larry Brown was the coach. He could have ran a variation of the Rip Hamilton offense with Steph and they coast to the finals.
Larry Brown ain't running that offense with Eric Snow, George Lynch, Ty Hill and Deke as the other 4...and having success. The closest to that type of team for Steph is his Pacers, and they still had another shooter/scorer in Smits...and never made the Finals with him coaching. Now, He didn't implement the same offense in Philly that he had in Det or Indy...and he coached the Spurs and they had disappointing seasons each year.
No matter how great a player is, it still takes the perfect blend of building a team that compliments them, implementing a style of play that maximizes their abilities AND everyone buying into said system. A better question is Steph over Reggie and how many rings do they have.
Another example - Nash was a better player than Jason Terry. Yet, when the Mavs traded away Nash, and became an all ISO team is when they go to the Finals almost instantly. Younger Kidd on that Mavs team goes to Finals, but Nash on those Nets teams don't, not back to back - not even in the East
