to get it even you're gonna have to dig up any patches, or sunken areas. Get use to making soil mix, sand, compost, topsoil etc. Water that bytch across the entire perimeter
Personally I always cut low for my own lawn.

Fukk that it's a job I never wanted to do again after I left home and later bought my own home. Growing up my Granny stayed having me in our yard cutting, trimming and watering and shyt in hot azz Texas in the summer.I vowed to never do that. My yard is landscaped with all mulch and rocks, native plants, a lemon and orange tree and bushes. And I pay the a brehito 75 dollars a month to maintain it. It's Cali so our yards are smaller anyway .
I swear to god, everybody loves Cali for the weather, the mountains the cities etc. ya'll lawns are a damn blessing.

I actually eventually want to have a natural garden to attract pollinators. I don't care for manicured grass except for specific areas in the front yard.

I hate yard work and only do it out of necessity. My house and yard are only 7 months old, so you can still see where the grass was laid. It's getting there though. This florida sun is tough on it tho.

I wish lol. My shyt gets scorched in the summer. I tried reseeding but the weeds are that shyt up fast. My neighbor who was around when the built my house told me they used some shytty soil to fill in the yard
