Nah I know in 2014 they were heavy because that's when I got my first touchscreen but during 2010-2012 most kids in my school wasn't on that wave yet until at least early-mid 2013.

Most of us still had flips or keypad phones during our freshman (2010) up to our Junior (2013) years... it wasn't until my senior (2014) year when touchscreens started to make buzz around school.

My parents got me my first phone in 2010 when I started highschool...it was a flip but around late 2011 they brought me a Samsung keypad phone and I had that until at least early-mid 2013. When my senior (2014) year came up my parents decided to get me a "better" phone so my first touchscreen became an LG (I don't remember the name; I think it was called a Risio).

Yes during 2010 to around mid 2013 most students didn't have touches outside of teachers and a few seniors but they were older than us with jobs and shyt. From Freshman up to Junior the wave was flips or keypads for most of us :yeshrug: some nikkas didn't even have phones and would always ask others to make calls and shyt.

Nah no immigrants either. Matter of fact NYC schools during my school years (middle/highschool) didn't have much foreigners compared to nowadays. You might've saw a few but not enough to be noticeable.

This Face ID was working great till this pandemic. Now I have to type in my pin like a pilgrim when I have a mask on.
