Dealing with this now....hardest part of cleaning up a hoarders mess is to get them to understand they are a hoarder in the first place

I used to be when I was younger I'm quick to throw some shyt away these days though.

I am hoarder to the point that I have bought a replacement item just to take out the part I need and repair the original.

It is difficult for me to throw certain things. Don't care about certain items but if it is a gift or purchased at a particular time, I just can't. The moment I pick up the object, memories come back and I'm happy.

I spent all day yesterday trying to explain to my mother that she's a hoarder and she needs to get rid of certain shyt.

The shyt is exhausting. Arguing with a grown woman about throwing away cardboard boxes in the garage she don't need


I'm such a minimalist. Junk and clutter gives me so much anxiety.

My mom (RIP) was somewhat of a hoarder and I refuse to be one for that reason. No need to keep old magazines and newspapers or anything else you don't use or need regularly. I've thrown away so much stuff the past five years that if its not something i use or wear or actually need rather in an emergency or just every once in awhile I'll get rid of it with the quickness
