Guys that are so concerned with what women are thinking or doing, going along to get along, acquiescing all the fukking time purposely go out of their way to NOT create tension do all that just for things to end up flat.
You don't have to be a 'bad' boy to create some tension, some drama, some polarity, but you do have to challenge that person to properly hold their attention. You can love somebody all you want, but if there is no polarity (a lot of married couples) things will be flat and attention will be elsewhere.

And tension isn't a bad thing, it's something we all crave actually. Tension is PASSION. That doesn't have to look like 'bad boy' behavior or drama but that's one reason why women gravitate to those guys. If a woman see's no kind of challenge in you, her options are either be bored or find it elsewhere.

It's not that complicated and it's not just women. Human beings hate being bored.
Right now somewhere there is man with a wife that he loves very much, who he's comfortable with and generally appreciative of. But if there is no sexual tension between them he will probably be fukking someone else on the reg, someone that would likely be generating some drama/passion that he can't get at home.
We need that balance, 'love' be damned.
