id much rather have that sustained excellence in my career. Besides, im rich and playing basketball for a living. No need for anybody to feel "sorry" for me for losing in the finals. Anybody would kill for that to be their biggest problem in life.

Just seeing how people kill LBJ for his win/loss record in the finals made me think. Sustained success is great but maybe I should've asked would you rather be 1-1 or 0-6 in the finals?

if you can show that you are gonna be in prime time for 3-4 playoff rounds you can get more than someone not making the playoffs or one and done.
