Just like Wentz, Trent was supposed to be the QB of the future, and he got scooped for his job getting hurt
by Kurt who was bagging groceries before that...it ain't that different from this.
The key difference being Green got hurt in the preseason and Kurt Warner won MVP. You’re comparing that to some Jeff Hostetler shyt

Maybe not. I doubt he's mad at all, but jealousy at the least would have to creep in, no? I'm thinking just from a basic human reaction. But then again, I'm a really selfish motherfukker so I could just be projecting. :yeshrug:

Foles isnt an all time great breh there nothing to be jealous about. Everybody rooting for Foles and so was Wentz. If Wentz has high goals which I think he does hes gonna have to put up numbers and win a couple more Superbowls. This win actually helps motivate him.

That's the "key" difference, because it's the "only" difference in the two scenarios. lol

I don't mean jealous of Foles at all. I'm just talking about being on the sideline watching your team win a game -- any game, let alone the fukking Superbowl -- without you. You gotta have some negative emotion there, especially when you were basically the MVP this season. You don't think Carson hasn't internally thought to himself at least once, "Well, damn, they won the whole thing without me, how valuable am I REALLY?"

I'm talking from just the human aspect anyway, I don't have a dog in the race as far as being a fan of the team or any team for that matter, or even the technical football aspect of it all. I can remember getting injured my last year in high school (I was probably the third best player on the team, not the best though) and watching them almost win in the state tournament without me. Can't lie and say I didn't at the very least have mixed emotions. Sad for my teammates/friends because we lost of course, but at least feeling a small bit of satisfaction from the idea that they lost because I couldn't play. Basic ego shyt.

And it’s a big difference because you have to question whether the Eagles get the 1 seed(the biggest reason they got this far) if Foles has to play for a whole season.
