It hasn't. USC players were PAYED so it technically was a pro sport town then as well.


But all bs aside, I'm not saying USC wasn't great or won't be great. I'm just saying right now, TAMU is better situated then all but maybe 2/3 schools. INCLUDING USC AND TU. They have as much money and exposure as anyone and Sumlin makes them "cool." Right now, it's a better job. So if USC called right now, I'd tell'em to kick rocks and then make TAMU match whatever they offered.

if they call, he should answer the phone to make a&m give him an increase to stay, then dip for the league in a year or 2...if he leaves for the league while on top, he'll always be welcomed back to college...

think the same shyt is gonna happen with shaw at Stanford....he's not gonna take another college job right unless they pay a ridiculous amount...his next stop is the league, then come back to college if it don't work out...

You should stop letting ESPN and this forum mold your view of what a place is actually like. USC is on the Lakers level if not higher during Pete's era and UCLA is for damn sure more popular than the clippers. The Dodgers are just the Dodgers. They're a distraction until the other sports start up again.

Sumlin is a fukking KING in CS. He'd be just the coach of USC in LA. I'd stay in CS before I went to LA. Hell, I'd stay in Baton Rouge, Gainsville, Auburn, maybe even fukking Waco if they matched the money.
