You think the celtics big 3 didn't directly influence Lebron's choice?
Take the stan hat off for a second breh, once bron saw how easy they made and that shyt look and how the media reacted to them he realized he could probably get away with it
Obviously it backfired media wise and he was made out to be a villain. But the celtics made that shyt acceptable in the nba breh
Actually the Lakers and Rockets did it before, they just didn't win. The difference is that Lakers, Rockets and Celtics was all with players basically past their prime (Celtics being still close to theirs) and Boston struck the perfect mix with younger players (Rondo, Perk, Powe and them).
Heat was the first time players in their prime (not to mention the reigning MVP) joined forces imo. SO maybe Celts influenced him, but there was a precedent before, they just brought it to another level.
