Seems like a lot of people didn't catch the details of what actually happened.

I don't condone what the boy did, neither do I of the half assed explanation from his kin folk but,

according to the reporter the homeowner wasn't present during the invasion. She just so happened to witness it from another location because of the security cameras installed on the premises. She alerted the authorities first and then rushed to the scene of the crime before the police arrived to confront the intruder. From that point on we can only speculate what happened during the confrontation and if she actually felt threatened for her life and had no choice but to resort to lethal force. The cop even mentions that she should of let enforcement officers handle the situation near the end of the video, which is why the investigation is still on going as to whether she was legally justified in killing the boy. Even the claim that he actually stole anything is still in the air at this point.

Of course all of that is lost in translation when the people closest to him are interviewed, which in all likely hood could be edited to in a way that further sensationalizes this story.

That being said, anytime you take the risk of breaking into someones home you might just leave in a body bag. Sad story all around.

Stop trying to attack a home owner for going in their home and handling business.
She has every right to go into the home she owns and do whatever she wants when she wants.

I get that, being home and it pops off is one thing, but she wasn't. She made the decision to go to intervene in the situation. Black white or other, she had no right to do that. She wasn't defending herself she was seeking revenge on the people who robbed her. Can't really blame her, would probably do the same thing, but her actions were still wrong.
