If you have someone on ignore (for legit reasons) why should they be able to post in your threads to derail them, quote or mention you at all?

If a user has already been delightful enough to gain access to your ignore list, chances are they are not going to enter the thread about your car to compliment you on your choice of paintjob
Threads getting derailed for 5 pages by users staking each other would abruptly end if this feature were added.
You can keep saying this is somehow about me, but I actually have no users on ignore I'm just tired (like I'm sure many people are) of threads getting taken way off topic by two posters flirting with each other / arguing over bullshyt
Bad idea. I can only imagine how that could be abused.
