For the most part it’s like that already, can’t tell you how many people told me to go into teaching when I was on a break from college when I didn’t know what to do. So many think of teaching as backup gig when it’s nothing of the sort, children aren’t a backup plan.
I’m of the mind that the people in power want it this way, the school system is fukked and a result they get the less intelligent populace they desire.

Public education is outdated. A lot of this stuff needs to be online, with mix of charter schools and military schools (if parents wants their kids in those). At 14, it's do school or vocation.....or go kick rocks. Public education isn't for everyone.

This is literally the single worst idea I have ever heard in my entire life. You're quite literally creating a caste system through which those with means have the ability to advance and move upwards and those without are doomed to live as dregs to be the fuel in the service machine for those living among the upper strata.Like holy shyt this is the single most deluded thing I've ever heard and it's fukking hysterical that self proclaimed libertarians on here co-sign it when to do this you'd need to centralize all of this to a degree that's completely untenable OR deregulate it to the point where a degree literally means fukking nothing unless you spend $300K of money the overwhelming majority of the populace doesn't even have just so that we can claim that "everybody still gets an education". Which creates an oligarchy, which mirrors the fall of every major Chinese dynasty, Rome, Egypt, and any other society at the precipice of history.
