OP

I'm 44

I think what this question in the

OP

means is:

You're not trying to become anything. You've become yourself by now and the pressure is off.

From here, instead of "becoming" you start "being"

Living

Its a lot less intense than being 22 and mashing the gas continuously. But its truly comfortable.

Now. If you fight it and still offer your mix tape and still wear shoes that match nothing else in the outfit. Then you'll suffer

Acceptance is the essence. And doing YOU. Completely

Are you being consistent in the gym breh? I know you have two little ones at home and they take up a lot of what used to be free time, as they're supposed to. That's when my fitness journey fell off. When I had my daughter at 28. How are you eating? I've been working out consistently and so many people at work are noticing a difference in my physique, and it makes me feel good and motivated to keep keeping on, but my diet is where I struggle and slow my progress :francis:

I'm in the gym every morning, I wake up at 2:45am. But there was a looooong ass period of time where I wasn't getting much sleep at all. I wouldn't be doing shyt at the gym but going in the sauna, half ass workouts, and sleeping. I kept my schedule because I didn't want to lose the discipline to wake up that early. My biggest issue is my diet also, but having strong workouts has always helped me be disciplined in my diet. My diet fell off really bad during this time. I just recently got myself in a good place mentally to commit to a good diet & the drive to workout hard again.

But at 40, bouncing back aint nothing the same as your 20's or 30's. :francis:
