Definitely breh. For me, at least.
At 30, I was fukking every woman I could get my paws on, taking biweekly trips to Vegas with the homies, fukking off mad money on bullshyt, still getting into fights, etc. Smh. Now? At 40? None of that shyt is going down. I work, go to the gym, and go home. I find pleasure in simple shyt like reading, listening to music, finding a good series to indulge in and get into, and taking naps :flabbynsick:

That good, drama-free life. :ahh:

Life doesn't really begin or end.

:ehh:

Either way, Happy Birthday family, well wishes for you and yours.

Welp. Let's see how this middle age thing works out :flabbynsick: Women my age range are all bitter and damaged goods. Blew out p*ssy, b*stard kids, and trash bodies. My wrist and knee pain and dings from the gym are lingering a little longer than usual for me. Harder and harder to keep in shape. Gotta worry about old nikka shyt like getting my prostate checked and high blood pressure and diabetes medication. I'm not liking this aging shyt at all :mjcry: But I'm happy to be alive:blessed:Life's a bytch, but God forbid the bytch divorce me :ahh:
I guess you should have ignored the lie that us men age gracefully and got married at 28 instead of being single, busted, and disgusted at 40

Happy Bday breh :blessed:

I think aging only sucks if you haven't lived to the fullest up until that moment. If you spent your 20s and 30s having fun, travelling a little bit, building a career, exploring your interests, hanging out with friends, partying etc...I guess you can enjoy your 40s as you might still do some of that stuff but start slowing down and learnig to enjoy the down time with the stuff you've been building for. You can ease in the reminiscing thing knowing that you've been there and done that. At least that's how I see it. But when you're in the same spot near your 40s as you were in your 20s/30s, that's when that wall hits hard imo, cause you realize all those opportunities you didn't take advantage are not coming back, ad you just don't have the same energy to grind as much anyway.

Respect and thanks for the love! Not gonna do anything special. I stopped celebrating my birthday after 2005. My first born child, my son, was born stillborn on June 6th of that year, 3 days before my birthday. To be honest, I haven't recovered fully. Hard to get over that. I never had the pleasure of meeting my little man or hearing him cry or anything, but I feel such a special bond with him. So I just don't feel right celebrating. I've used every birthday since that year as a time of remembrance and reflection. But thank you again. Much appreciated.
This cool, but dangerous activity. Life is for the living. Don't allow your loss to negatively affect you forever. Stay strong breh
