So basically it matters what you degree is in as well.
If you are getting paid that low doing engineering and comp sci then you either need to move or are getting ripped off.

Good for him but if we're being real

Most of the jobs felons (especially multiple felonies) can get are intense labor and if they really want that money they'll be putting in a lot of overtime.

So yeah he might make more now but when shyt hits the fan and that job is gone with other labor jobs she'll be saving him from being homeless

My lady has 2 master's degree and I have a GED.. I make damn near double what she makes.. My overtime pay alone was more than her regular salary. I don't even feel like I work, I just show up, watch movies on my phone while getting paid.

So you see nothing wrong with this " don't go to school kids" rhetoric nikkas are pushing?
if school is the best route for someone they should take it

some people cant handle the cubicle life:mjcry:

i know a cat who got a bachelors in buisness

got a high paying job for a major insurance company:blessed:

the cubicle life was killing him:damn:

he started doing concrete work

paid off his student debts:whew:

then took his knowledge of business and concrete work

and started his own concrete business:ahh:

and is balling without doing any physical labor:blessed:

so for some people both school and the trades is the ticket:myman:

I'm for whatever gets you were you want to be in life:salute:

College degree doesn't always mean making more money. Many times it just means that you can make good money but not have to earn the money outside in the environment or in dangerous elements.

shyt I got a BS and a MS and at one time I was working on my PHD.

Yet still my wife's cousin makes more than me in oil. But the brotha is away from home 6 to 7 months out the year and working outside in all temperatures and working in dangerous conditions overseas.

Statistics: You're 60% more likely to see a black dog than you would a white dog on you way to work on a Monday.

Random idiot: *sees white dog while stuck in traffic* *snaps photo and posts on social media about their specific scenario thinking the just proved stats wrong*

Fail to understand how statistics work brehs
Act like numbers need more people brehs
Fail to understand the difference between a job and a career brehs

I swear... :snoop:

Not really, what sense does it make for a kid struggling in an underfunded public high school to not drop out, get his GED and go do an apprenticeship or trade school instead?

Would you rather him be subjected to useless tests for four years be told he has to do four more years of school after that with thousands of student loan debt?

Matter fact, what's stopping him from going to an online college after he's settled with his construction job?
