It wasn't really a vacation, I was getting ready to live down there :lupe: Had two different jobs lined up ready to go, but came back to the US because my family talked me out of it.

I was on a tourist visa and already did one extension and 6 months was the limit so I had to come back anyway, but I was going to return with a work visa so I could stay longer and then eventually expatriate. I'd much rather live in your country than the US, as many problems as yall have down there, I think the US has even worse problems since the issues are an actual part of the culture here.

:ohhh:

And I always planned to go to USA. Gave up of the idea after I realize how it's hard to a ramdom alien do it in there.

Since I have plans to work with a thing who usually are made for the american market first (comic books), and when It's happens, I probably will there for convenctions etc. But nothing more than this.

why breh? If you a average black american, you'll be :blessed::blessed::blessed: in a place like Salvador (for a example based on the amount of black population). There's the fact that you being an american, girls would be :shaq: just by your swag.

But of course you need to get here for a vacation with enough money to stay at a cool place and only hang around.

The typical brazilian worker struggle is hard.

The Black Diaspora struggle is real everywhere :to: Black Americans and Brazilians should network more and get our money up :banderas:

Visit first and see if you like it, in my opinion the US is hot garbage outside of maybe 10 cities total, and they are all very expensive to live in.

All the Brazilians I know of in the US eventually go back to Brazil, they stack some money here, send it home and sooner or later they get tired of the winters in NY :russ:

Black brazilians don't adjust themselves as a community. I see n1ccas here on the colli complaining about how the black community are dying in the USA. In Brazil it never existed.

I mean, only some immigrants here in Brazil organizated themselves in separeted communities like it's typical in the USA, wich is the japaneses and some german.

But in the beggining to the 20 century, the brazilian government went mad on those communities, with the argue that Brazil should not have distinct communities, and the "brazilian" spirit should be the same with every race.

But mind you, the government always had issues with blacks, by the same era, brazilian government created the idea that blacks would be "diluted" by mixing with cacs immigrants, so the "black problem" should end this way. Different from argentina, who killed all blacks in there after the official "end" of slavery.

This point up there, is what bitters me about this mixing culture in brazil, it was CLEARLY a tool from them cacs to exterminate the black people culture and identity. Just thinking about it gives me headache.

4k usd is :whoo: of money in Brazil.

I mean, usually the usd values the double of r$.

So, a person who makes 8k r$ here can live very well.

I make 1200 r$ a month, would be about 600 usd :mjlol:

figures.

You missed my question bruv

Basic portuguese is kinda relative. It's a difficult language, compared to english. Like, only living here for a amount of time, to get used to. A basic course in USA may help. But you'll still have some trouble in the beginning.

Well In big cities it's easier to find people who know english. So a combo of basic portuguese+english would be good.
