I'm sorry I couldn't stream it @4fossa , but here's a link to the samba queen of Brazil:

http://www.bloomberg.com/video/popout/Ue4wlU15SiScNjagA_cXjQ/9.381

So they usually pick a woman who doesn't truly represent Brazilian? :dahell: And why in :dahell: would you pick ANY women that is not a typical Brazilian when your locals are looking like the 2014 queen? :noah:

Samba is stereotyped to have black girls in... I don't know if this is your point through

edit: I think that I got the idea now. Yeah I also find odd those choices. I've already discussed this topic with friends and etc.

Samba is a black (and therefore, from poor slices of the population) culture and all, but they choose a lot of white girls from higher classes and put as queens.
:why:

But I guess that they do that just to please the white and "non favela" audience.

Black brazilians don't adjust themselves as a community. I see n1ccas here on the colli complaining about how the black community are dying in the USA. In Brazil it never existed.

I mean, only some immigrants here in Brazil organizated themselves in separeted communities like it's typical in the USA, wich is the japaneses and some german.

This is interesting because I heard that traditional african religions are still practiced by a lot of blacks in Brazil? Is that not true?

Yes this is true.

And they suffer a lot of discrimination by christian folks, who are the majority by far.

I was watching a short documentary of Brazil's drug epidemic(sad stuff) and noticed all of the leadership in the drug gangs there are cacs while most of the street level soldiers and fiends in the favelas are Brazilians of color..:wtf: I always knew yt was running and using the drug trade to devastate the black community in the US and that black drug gangs are nothing but mules/puppets of the government but it's blatant in Brazil....atleast the black gangs/drug crews in the US pretend to be self made hustlers ran by their own OGs while pushing CIA's poison to their own people ...:snoop:@Brazilian nikkas selling crack to their communities children on behalf of their gringo OGs.....these nikkas may just be bigger c00ns than AA gangs

enlighten me breh..how did it come to this?

another thing while researching the Yoruba religion which I understand is big in the Afro Brazilian community I ran across an story which implied that the Candomble sect not only worships Yoruba gods and their African ancestors but their former Portuguese masters too:scusthov:

I've NEVER heard about any afro-brazilian religion that worship cacs portugueses masters. Are you sure about this shyt. :wtf:
Usually those religions bashed them.
The far that it got into cacs bussiness was things connected it christianism.

There are drug lords who are black here, or at least mixed dudes. Take Fernandinho Beiramar as an example, one of the biggest drug lords that Brazil ever had.

http://www.pop.com.br/arquivos/b/bei/beiramar060211/173040_beiramarintjpg.jpg

This dude ain't cac. :pachaha:

Usually those cacs who somehow are drug lords, are white collar dudes who got political positions and things like that. And use their position to help their drug lord game.

Anyway, the c00nism here in brazil, is really something big.

But it's indeed due to the black population falling into the white propaganda.

And since there's not so much "black knowlodge" (like USA have, shyt, you guys have a whole month to think about it), black people are true brainwashed here.

But yeah, we got the "day of the black conciousness" and the holiday for Zombi dos Palmares". But that's all.

Also, Zumbi dos Palmares was a :blessed::salute: slave who did a new Django movie type of shyt and rebeled A LOT of black folk, trying to create "free black communitys" aside from the cac one.
You n1kkas should research about him.

I'm not surprised at all by that...its the same here in the states...people will ridicule anything that is out of the norm

do you know some of the areas that traditional African religions are practiced in? I'd like to visit some of them in the future
