Seriously. Its criminal how Drake ruined so many good beats on this album. Why is the industry on his jock so damn much? Controlla could have been an international hit had wayne wonder, Beanie Man, or any other halfway decent dancehall artist jumped on it.

I'm a drake stan but this thread is facts. it's only like 3-4 songs i listen to. honestly i think if people knew it was a singing album in advance it wouldn't seem as garbage
even with that though....the singing songs on here aint as powerful as say Going Home. shyts just wack
i'ma chill and revisit it after a while and see if i like it more

It's actually a pretty good album musically, production wise at least, but at this stage people are expecting greatness from Drake which makes the album sound wacker than it is. If Drake was a new artists people would be calling this the album of the year, but it sounds like an inferior version of shyt we've heard before, Drake's Massacre.

I appreciate your honesty, I listened to Views waiting for the majesty to hit me like Ovo disciples were trying to tell me what Views was going to be like. I can only imagine if one of Drake's enemies released this album. It would be total eviseration on bar after bar/autocroon of how lazy it sounded.

One other thing, Drake has access to the most talented musicians/producers & the best they can come up with is filtered Soul/R&B samples, that's the formula for greatness? I just dont think we can should just give out Citizen Kane applause gifs for something that is obviously phoned in. Ovo needs to talk to "The Roots" and ask them what they did when they were just using the Rhodes electric piano too much on the majority of their projects.
