Your pops is either jealous that you're graduating or he's trying to bring you down. He sounds like he didn't live his life to the fullest with a purpose. I can't see any logical reason he'd tell you this on one of the happiest days of your life. He's selfish, not you.

then again i was kinda arguing with my moms in the car who was mad at me cuz i made it so that my 2 brothers(fukk these nikkas) did not come with us and that I didn't care and was happy about them not being there.
Maybe he was trying to bring me closer to them.
